Jani-King International has climbed back into the world’s top 10 franchise companies.
The leading commercial cleaning franchise is ranked in eighth place in Entrepreneur magazine’s January 2010 Franchise 500 issue – a jump of seven places from last year’s 15th position.
Jani King has also retained its place as number one commercial cleaning franchise and number one home-based franchise. The cleaning company is also ranked in second place in the low-cost investment category against comparable brands.
Others in the overall top 10 include Subway, McDonalds, 7 Eleven and Dunkin Donuts.
“These rankings further validate the efforts put forth every day by our regional offices and franchisees,” says Jerry Crawford, president of Jani-King. “To be recognised as the number one commercial cleaning franchise for the 23rd year is a remarkable testament to Jani-King’s programme and the commitment of our corporate headquarters and regional offices to support our franchisees.”
The Franchise 500, which is promoted as the world's first, best and most comprehensive franchise ranking, is published in the January issue of Entrepreneur magazine each year. Entrepreneur judges all companies by the same criteria; objective, quantifiable measures of a franchise operation.
The most important factors include financial strength and stability, growth rate and size of the system.
